MBL was founded on the idea that all brands have a story to tell, but sometimes they need a little help sharing it with the world. That’s where we come in. Barkue Tubman-Zawolo

is known to many as “a fixer,” a title she uses with pride because it encapsulates her unique skill set, business acumen and connections within Africa. She started Miss Boss Lady Entertainment in 2002 after a successful tenure as a music executive in the US. In 2008, the company rebranded it as MBL Intl. Group as Tubman-Zawolo continued to grow her client base and expand the agency’s capabilities. Now, she uses her leadership experience, global network of connections and entrepreneurial drive to bring Africa into the global spotlight through advocacy, partnerships and outreach. Her strong connections in Africa and the West, plus her commitment to excellence, have positioned MBL as one of the most sought-after experiential and branding agencies in West Africa.

Outside the office, Tubman-Zawolo loves spending time with her husband and their amazing triplets, traveling and discovering African Luxury Brands.
